Alquimétricos 101 – EN
General course objectives:
Meet Alquimétricos, flexible building blocks to construct all kinds of geometric structures of 2 and 3 dimensions.
Learn to manufacture connectors using a variety of virgin and recycled materials, whether using simple hand tools such as pliers and scissors or sophisticated 3D printers, laser cutters, and vinyl plotters.
Assemble both flat geometric figures such as triangles, squares, pentagon, and hexagons, as well as volumetric bodies such as platonic solids (tetrahedron, cube, octahedron, dodecahedron) and geodesic structures of frequency 1, 2 and 3.
Incorporate technological elements such as electronic components (LEDs, servo motors, Arduino, sensors, microphones, buzzers, etc.) or hydraulic (syringes, hoses) to produce articulated structures with autonomous movement.
Help us making cool educational toys free to the world!
